Welcome to Turnitin Connect ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Turnitin Connect application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and/or using the Services in any manner, including but not limited to visiting or browsing the Site, scanning documents, purchasing passes or subscriptions, or utilizing our AI Score Reduction and Human Paraphrasing services, you agree to these Terms and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Site by us, each of which is incorporated by reference.

2. Subscription Plans, Passes & Digital Services

Turnitin Connect provides access to digital scanning quotas and academic integrity tools through various purchase models, including timed subscriptions (e.g., 1-Day, 15-Day, and 30-Day plans), non-expiring One-Time Passes, Daily Quota Reset Boosters, and customized AI Score Reduction & Human Paraphrasing services. Billing is processed securely through authorized payment gateways (including Stripe, Cryptomus, and regional payment processors).

3. Strict No-Refund Policy — All Purchases Are Final

3.1 Immediate Digital Execution: Our services are digital goods and real-time computing resources that are activated immediately upon transaction confirmation. Scan quotas, server bandwidth, API compute, and priority queuing are provisioned instantly. Therefore, services are considered fully and irrevocably rendered at the moment of payment.

3.2 Subscription & Booster Non-Refundability: Subscriptions (1-Day, 15-Day, 30-Day), One-Time Passes, and Daily Quota Reset Boosters cannot be refunded, prorated, or exchanged for cash or credit under any circumstance, including but not limited to:

• Failure to utilize allocated daily scans before expiration or midnight UTC reset;
• Accidental or duplicate purchases made by the user;
• Dissatisfaction with automated AI detection or plagiarism similarity scores generated by external academic institutions or third-party engines;
• Account suspension or termination resulting from violation of these Terms.

3.3 AI Score Reduction Orders: Due to the immediate manual assignment of human academic specialists, custom manual rewriting labor, and dedicated computational resources, orders for AI Score Reduction & Human Paraphrasing are strictly non-refundable once placed. While our editors guarantee rewriting your manuscript to achieve a Turnitin AI score below 10% (accompanied by an official Turnitin verification report), change-of-mind cancellations or refund requests will not be entertained.

3.4 Prohibition of Chargebacks: Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your financial institution without prior written engagement with our administrative team constitutes fraud and a material breach of this agreement. Any chargeback will lead to immediate account termination, forfeiture of remaining quotas, and permanent blacklisting of associated emails, IP addresses, and payment instruments.

4. AI Score Reduction Service & 24-Hour Ephemeral Retention

4.1 File Format Requirement: The AI Score Reduction service strictly and exclusively accepts Microsoft Word (.docx) files. Submissions in .pdf, image, or other formats cannot be processed and will prompt an error requirement to re-upload in .docx format.

4.2 Ephemeral 24-Hour Purge: To protect student privacy, confidentiality, and institutional anonymity, all manuscripts, revised drafts, and generated verification reports associated with an AI Score Reduction order are permanently and automatically deleted from our servers after exactly 24 hours. Users are solely responsible for downloading their completed documents within this 24-hour delivery window.

4.3 Delivery Windows: Standard deliveries are fulfilled within 12 to 24 hours. Orders designated as Urgent Rewrite are prioritized for rapid editor dispatch and delivered in under 4 hours.

5. Fair Use and Usage Limits

While we provide high daily scan quotas to our subscribers, all access is subject to reasonable fair use. Automated scraping, unauthorized multi-user account pooling, bot access, or attempting to compromise scanning endpoints will result in immediate termination of your account without notice and without refund.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services, including site design, logos, user interfaces, documentation, and proprietary software, are the exclusive property of Turnitin Connect, Inc. and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Your Text is Your Text — Zero Repository Policy

We do not claim any ownership rights over the manuscripts or documents you upload. For scanning services, all document evaluation occurs in volatile RAM with zero repository logging, ensuring your work will never be indexed or matched against future academic submissions. Documents processed for AI Score Reduction are held solely for the 24-hour service delivery window before complete destruction.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Company, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of academic standing, grades, profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the Services.
